Second grade has been focusing on life science, specifically exploring how plants and animals adapt to different habitats. Students are learning how living things meet their needs in various environments. As part of this unit, students are creating a diorama based on a selected habitat, including plants and animals that live there.
In addition, we have been focusing on measurement in math. Students are using a variety of tools to measure length in inches, feet, and yards. Check out our fabulous students at work doing the thing they do best--learn!
