Check out what the students in Mr. Maus' class have been up to! Our work with CGI (Cognitive Guided Instruction) is clearly on display, and we couldn't be prouder of the incredible progress our students are making on a daily basis. Here, our students are using not one, but two powerful resources - fraction bars and multiplication facts charts. Fraction bars are an amazing tool that help our students visualize equivalent fractions in a way that's easier to understand, making complex concepts feel more accessible and fun to learn. The use of a multiplication fact chart allows our students to see the development of patterns of numbers, reduce math anxiety, and build their confidence as they work with multidigit numbers.
It's incredible to see how these visual aids can make all the difference in their learning journey! We appreciate the learning our TEACHERS continue to engage in as they continue to learn instructional strategies that help our students learn well.
