Piru Preschool students practiced counting collections using colorful leaf counters and recording their work on paper. As they count each object and represent their collections, students build number sense and learn that the final number tells how many objects are in a group. This hands-on activity also supports fine motor skills, problem-solving, and collaboration with classmates.
