Over the summer break, maintenance and facility crews worked hard across our school sites to refresh spaces, improve climate control, and build inclusive play environments for students.
Fillmore Middle School Exterior Painting
Funding: Building Fund and Routine Restricted Maintenance funds
Status: Complete
Details: All campus buildings received fresh exterior painting along with brand-new campus signage and updated light poles throughout the quad areas.
Fillmore Middle School HVAC & Shade Structure
Funding: Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP)
Shade & Quad Improvements: Exterior shade sails and quad seating upgrades were completed on schedule, creating comfortably shaded gathering spaces ready for day one of the new school year.
Gymnasium HVAC: Interior gym work was successfully completed over the summer. Exterior installation continues as planned, with full completion anticipated by September 20th.
San Cayetano Extensive Needs Play Area

Details: This newly completed outdoor space features synthetic turf, tactile sensory panels, musical instruments, and accessible pathways designed specifically to enrich outdoor play for students with extensive needs.
These facility upgrades ensure our campuses remain safe, modern, and welcoming spaces for learning and growth as we kick off another great school year.
