Today, our students received an important and timely presentation from Deputy Avila on firework safety. With the 4th of July just around the corner, it’s critical that our children understand how to stay safe around fireworks and celebrate responsibly.

Today marks the first day of summer school at San Cayetano, where we’re excited to welcome students from both San Cayetano and Piru School!
Our classrooms are buzzing with energy as students dive into new learning adventures, creative activities, and lots of summertime fun.

This Earth Day, we got our hands dirty for a greener tomorrow! Students and staff at San Cayetano Elementary came together to plant a tree on campus—one small act for our school, one big step for our planet. Let’s keep growing, learning, and protecting the Earth, one tree at a time!
Mrs. Appleford’s 4th graders published their very own book! They each wrote opinion pieces about which animal they think is the best. With beautiful illustrations to accompany their writing, the students are very proud of the work they have done, and can now call themselves published authors!
What a colorful day at San Cayetano! Today’s Color Run was a blast — students and staff came together for a fun-filled event bursting with energy, laughter, and lots of color! Huge thanks to all the volunteers and to our Counselor, Mrs. Sebastian, who made this day unforgettable. We loved seeing our school community unite in such a vibrant celebration of health, joy, and school spirit!
