This week HVIS students had an amazing day at Moorpark College, exploring future opportunities and enjoying the beautiful Moorpark Zoo! Learning goes beyond the classroom, this week was about discovery, inspiration, and a little fun along the way.

8th Grade Promotion and Awards Ceremony

This week, HVIS held a joyful 8th Grade Promotion and Awards Ceremony to celebrate the dedication and accomplishments of our students. We are so proud of their hard work and wish our 8th graders a bright and successful journey into high school. A heartfelt thank you to our amazing teachers for their guidance and support, and to all the families who continue to encourage and uplift our students every step of the way. Mother's Day

Sierra High and Heritage Valley Independent Studies hosted a heartfelt Mother’s Day event where students invited their mothers and loved ones for an evening of connection, creativity, and community. 

Guests enjoyed a light dinner, meaningful conversations, and hands-on crafts that sparked joy and laughter. Our “conversation starters” helped break the ice, it was truly special to witness mothers and daughters sharing stories, smiles, and special moments together.
