We would like to congratulate Mr. Greg Godfrey who was selected to be the 2019 Grand Marshal. Greg has been spent many hours in the last 25 years improving our music department at both the Middle School and High School. Homecoming Parade - Thursday, September 26 at 6:30 pm. This summer the gymnasium floor was refinished and the results are outstanding! The floor and entire gym look great and is ready for the new school year. Great job Fillmore Unified staff and contractors!
One of the largest summer projects was the trenching at the High School. New electrical lines were placed under much of the center of campus. Fillmore Unified staff and contractors did a great job on the project and finished in time for the beginning of the new school year.
This summer the cafeteria was thoroughly cleaned by Fillmore Unified staff and student workers. Their hard work has resulted in a clean cafeteria ready for students to enjoy.
This summer’s “makeover” of the office is complete. Mr. Wilber and the office staff are very happy with their new carpet, paint and furniture!
High School Principal John Wilbur was hard at work this summer when we asked him to stand for this photo in his office. Mr. Wilber and everyone at the High School is eagerly awaiting their furniture to arrive as they prepare for the new school year.
One of the highest priorities at Fillmore High has been to protect “The Helmet” during this summer’s construction projects. Fillmore won the helmet back from Santa Paula as a result of what can only be called an epic 31-24 come-from-behind win during the last rivalry game. Go Flashes!
The trench being dug for new electrical lines and other upgrades to the High School is progressing right on schedule.
This year’s summer projects included a “make-over” of the office’s conference table. Wow! What an amazing transformation! It looks like new.
