Fillmore High School FFA hosted a fun event for our Preschool, Transitional Kindergarten, and Kindergarten students. Students were able to pick a pumpkin to take home, have a picture taken on a tractor and learn about some farm animals. Thanks to Mrs. Klittich and Ms. Lemus and the Fillmore High School FFA student leaders for a great event.

About Fillmore Unified School District:
Fillmore Unified School District (FUSD) is a preschool, TK­12 and post­secondary, and adult education public school district located in a geographically isolated suburban area approximately 25 miles east of the city of Ventura, California. The District is an integral part of the city of Fillmore, population 15,420, and is the city's single largest employer. The small unincorporated community of Piru, population 2,114, is located seven miles east of the city of Fillmore and is served by the Fillmore Unified School District.

Fillmore Unified School District faculty, staff and administrators strive every day to ensure the vision and mission statements are fulfilled through our students' well­being and preparedness for their futures. The District serves approximately 3,751 school age children in four elementary schools, one middle school, one comprehensive high school, and one alternative high school. Additionally, one hundred and forty­seven, preschoolers are served by our five full­day and one half­day California State Preschool classrooms and since 2017 over three hundred adults are now served in the Fillmore Adult School. The community places a high value on education and overwhelming approved a 35 million dollar general obligation bond in the November 2016 election.
