Although not all the votes have been counted, as of Wednesday November 16, 2022, Measure G, with a growing 61.72% successful margin, is on track to pass. In anticipation of Measure G’s passage, the Fillmore Unified School District welcomes the community, students, and staff to give input on the new Athletic Complex to be constructed at Fillmore High School. We’ve invited the architects to listen to all of your ideas. Please join us for three sessions. Two on November 21st at 3pm & 5:30pm, and one on November 28th at 6pm. All sessions will be held in the High School library. Please enter at the 2nd street gate. Thank you!

Measure G Current Results

FUSD Community,
We are excited to see the current results of Measure G. Thank you to the community of Fillmore for supporting and believing in our school district, and most importantly, supporting our amazing students! We are optimistically looking forward to the official vote count by the Ventura County Elections Office and can’t wait for the official celebration. Our first project will be the construction of a new gymnasium and athletic complex at Fillmore High. Please stay tuned for opportunities to get involved and provide input on this project.

Great things are happening in FUSD!

Sincerely,
Christine Schieferle, Superintendent

Computer and Internet Skills class learned how to create beautiful flyers

This group of students in our Computer and Internet Skills class learned how to create beautiful flyers using online tools. This class focuses on learning technology through creative projects and crafts. They are making their way through a lot of projects that the students gave input into what they wanted to learn and do. Soon these students will be making digital designs and having them cut by an electronic cutting machine called a Cricut. If you are interested in joining this fun group, please reach out to our Office Manager 805-456-4003. You can also swing by to see the class in action and speak to the talented teacher, Marlene Carvajal in room 36 in the adult school classrooms at the District Offices. Classes are Mondays and Wednesdays 9-11am.
